Changan Increases Car Prices Post GST Hike Recently, Changan Pakistan, like many other car companies, has raised its prices following the implementation of an additional 1% General Sales Tax (GST) in the latest mini-budget. As a result, the prices of several Changan vehicles, including the Alsvin, Karvaan, Oshan X7, and M9 Sherpa, have been increased. The new prices, effective immediately, have been communicated to Changan's dealers.
Changan Alsvin's new prices are as follows:
• The base variant of Alsvin 1.3L M/T Comfort now costs Rs. 3,929,000, an increase of Rs. 30,000 from its previous price of Rs. 3,899,000.
• The price of Alsvin 1.5L DCT Comfort has also gone up by Rs. 40,000, bringing the total cost of the vehicle to Rs. 4,239,000 from Rs. 4,199,000.
• The top-end Alsvin 1.5L DCT AT Lumiere variant has seen a significant jump of Rs. 100,000, taking its new price to Rs. 4,599,000 from Rs. 4,499,000.
Revised Prices of Changan Oshan X7's:
• The price of the Oshan X7 Comfort variant has gone up to Rs. 8,069,000 from Rs. 7,999,000, an increase of Rs. 70,000.
• The Oshan X7 FutureSense has also seen an increase of Rs. 80,000, bringing its price to Rs. 8,679,000 from Rs. 8,599,000.
Updated Prices of Changan Karvaan's new prices:
• The Karvaan Standard now costs Rs. 2,779,000, up by Rs. 30,000 from its previous price of Rs. 2,749,000.
• The Karvaan Plus model has increased by Rs. 30,000, reaching a new price of Rs. 2,929,000 from Rs. 2,899,000.
Latest Changan M9 price:
Changan M9 New Price Changan Sherpa (M9) has also seen a price hike of Rs. 20,000, with the new cost of the pick-up now being Rs. 2,469,000, up from its previous price of Rs. 2,449,000.
