Hyundai Pakistan is set to launch the base variant of the popular Tucson SUV in the next couple of months. The company is aiming to compete with the Kia Sportage Alpha in the Pakistani market with this new offering. As per sources, the crossover SUV will hit the market in June 2023. The base variant of the Hyundai Tucson is expected to come with halogen headlamps and tail lamps, as well as halogen fog lights. It will also feature LED daytime running lights (DRLs), which will be similar to the higher variants. However, there will be no chrome garnish on the front grille, and the car will have 17-inch alloy wheels. The car will not have a push start or a jackknife key, although it will offer keyless entry without smart key functions. The base variant will not have a panoramic sunroof, and will only come with LED integrated indicators in side mirrors. Additionally, it will have silver roof rails but no smart entry.

The base variant of the Hyundai Tucson will have a 6 or 7-inch floating screen with physical buttons, which is smaller than the screens in the higher variants. It will have fabric manual seats, a manual tailgate, and 17.4-inch speakers. There will be no rear AC vents, wireless charger, cooled glove box, or chromatic mirror.

Engine:
The new variant is expected to come with a 2.0L engine that delivers 155 horsepower and 190+Nm torque. It will have a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Safety and Convenience:
The base variant of the Hyundai Tucson will come with two airbags, a rear camera, and rain-sensing wipers. However, it will not have parking sensors, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Downhill Assist, Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), or an electronic parking brake.
