Pakistan First Electric Hatchback NUR-E 75

The first locally produced electric car was launched in Pakistan with collaborative efforts of the Dice Foundation, universities, and the private sector.

With assistance from regional academia and industry, the DICE Foundation, a non-profit organization with headquarters in the United States and led by Pakistani expats, has created and constructed this electric car prototype. Nur-E is the name of the first electric hatchback in Pakistan's prototype (named after Noor).

The Pakistani automobile sector has taken a fantastic and ground-breaking move with the Nur-E concept,which is still in its early stages. The DICE Foundation intends to obtain enough funding to construct the prototype commercially, which might take up to three years.
