Exterior and Interior
The new Tundra is still bulky, but it appears to be in better shape than its lumbering, clumsy predecessor. The base engine in the 2022 model is a 389-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. A 437-horsepower hybrid power train that combines the twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor is available as an option. Both engines come equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Features
An 8-inch touch screen, a six-speaker stereo (Double Cab models), a nine-speaker stereo (CrewMax models), satellite radio, USB ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Android Auto, and Apple Car Play are standard infotainment features. The infotainment system has a 14-inch touch screen, a 12-speaker JBL music system, wireless device charging, and USB connections. Automatic climate control, push-button start, a power-sliding rear window for Double Cab models, or a power-retractable rear window are standard in Crew Max models. Meanwhile, A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a moon-roof or panoramic moon-roof are also available.
