Toyota Tundra 2022 Expected Price, Full Review, Salient Features, Key Specs
Toyota Tundra is one of the most powerful pickup trucks. One of the bestselling vehicles competes with Ford F150. The truck, however, has some downsides. The Toyota Tundra 2022 is completely redesigned with new interior and exterior styling, two new powertrain options, with increased towing and hauling capacity.
Exterior and Interior
The new Tundra is still bulky, but it appears to be in better shape than its lumbering, clumsy predecessor. The Toyota Tundra 2022 interior has been greatly improved over the previous model, with large touchscreens integrated into a dash that can be trimmed in walnut, leather, and other warm materials.
Even when equipped with the large 14.0-inch touchscreen, the vehicle's broad, muscular exterior, with low lines stretching the length and width of the vehicle, reverberates inside across its horizontal dash. Plastic D-shaped vents flank the screen like ears, and horizontal climate controls and a large volume knob reduce reliance on touch.
Toyota Tundra 2022 Engine
The base engine in the 2022 model is a 389-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. A 437-horsepower hybrid power train that combines the twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor is available as an option. Both engines come equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
An 8-inch touch screen, a six-speaker stereo (Double Cab models), a nine-speaker stereo (CrewMax models), satellite radio, USB ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Android Auto, and Apple Car Play are standard infotainment features. The infotainment system has a 14-inch touch screen, a 12-speaker JBL music system, wireless device charging, and USB connections. Automatic climate control, push-button start, a power-sliding rear window for Double Cab models, or a power-retractable rear window are standard in Crew Max models. Meanwhile, A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a moon-roof or panoramic moon-roof are also available.
