The ORA 5 is powered by a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack with a 58.3 kWh capacity, which is known for its improved thermal stability and extended lifespan over other battery technologies. The car's WLTP range is up to 435 km on a full charge – an ample amount for most everyday journeys and extended outings as well. Recharging is possible via AC as well as DC. Normally, it takes about 6 to 6.6 hours to charge the battery from empty to full using a standard AC charger, which makes it perfect for charging in the home overnight.
