JAECOO J5 BEV Price in Pakistan: What We Know So Far

Price and Local Assembly

The Jaecoo J5 BEV price is still under wraps, so any number you see online right now is a guess. Nishat Group will confirm it on 6th November 2026. The car is assembled from CKD kits at NexGen Auto, and that route normally keeps the final price lower than an imported unit. Local assembly should also make parts and service easier to arrange inside the country. To get a rough sense of the brand’s pricing, here is the current Jaecoo J5 price for the hybrid, ex-factory and valid from 1st October 2026. Please note this is not the BEV price, only a reference point.

  • Jaecoo J5 HEV Comfort: Rs 6,999,000
  • Jaecoo J5 HEV Premium: Rs 7,999,000

Battery, Range and Performance

The only version shown so far is the Jaecoo J5 premium trim, the BEV Premium Plus. It has a 58.9 kWh battery with a claimed range of 461 km on the NEDC cycle, so expect less on real roads. A single front motor makes 155 kW (207.8 hp) and 288 Nm, and the claimed 0 to 100 km/h time is 7.7 seconds. It offers Eco, Normal and Sport modes. Charging is up to 130 kW on DC and 11 kW on AC, and an 11 kW charger comes with the car. A 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load socket can run small appliances. The battery has an eight-year or 160,000 km warranty.

Interior and Features

The Jaecoo J5 interior is built around screens, with a 13.2-inch touchscreen and a digital driver display. The Premium Plus gets Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, an eight-speaker sound system, 50W wireless charging and multi-colour ambient lighting. Both front seats are powered and ventilated, and there is dual-zone climate control and a 1.45 square metre panoramic roof. The cabin is mostly white with blue stitching on the seats and steering wheel. For safety, you get a 540-degree camera, ADAS, ABS, stability control, hill-start assist, hill descent control, tyre pressure monitoring and ISOFIX mounts. The rear seats fold 60:40 to open up the boot.

Design, Size and Warranty

The J5 BEV keeps the upright crossover shape of the hybrid, but a closed front fascia replaces the grille. It measures 4,380 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width and 1,650 mm in height, with a 2,620 mm wheelbase and 184 mm of ground clearance. The Premium Plus rides on 18-inch wheels and gets automatic LED headlights, parking sensors and a powered tailgate. Boot space is 480 litres. Five colours are listed: Khaki White, Carbon Crystal Black, Eucalyptus Green, Glacier Blue and Elegant Gray. Jaecoo also gives a six-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, whichever comes first, which is reassuring for a new EV.

Running Cost: Fuel Average vs Charging

The hybrid Jaecoo J5 fuel average is claimed at 18.8 km/l, which is solid for an SUV of this size. The BEV skips petrol completely, so there is no fuel average to track, only the cost of electricity. Charging at home overnight will be the cheapest way to run it, and the included 11 kW charger helps if your home setup supports it. Public DC charging usually costs more per unit but is handy on long trips. Savings will depend on how much you drive and on your electricity tariff, so wait for the official price before doing the maths against the hybrid.
