The Kia Rio is a front-engine, front-wheel-drive, four-wheel-drive subcompact hatchback in its fourth generation. In comparison to the previous 3rd generation Kia Rio, the 2022 model featured an updated and sportier design language as well as larger exterior dimensions, resulting in a more spacious interior. The Kia Rio comes in three trim levels: S, EX, and LS. Kia intends to introduce the 1.4 engine in Pakistan. However, in some parts of the world, 1.6 variants with sedan body sizes are also available. The Kia Rio 2022 will be priced around 25 lacs, providing strong competition in Pakistan's hatchback market.
Engine
The Rio is powered by a 120 horsepower 1.6-liter inline-four engine with a continuously variable automatic transmission as the only transmission option. Although it isn't the fastest car on the block, a 2021 hatchback model we tested reached 60 mph in 8.6 seconds, which is comparable to many subcompact crossovers.
Interior
Inside the Rio, simplicity is the name of the game, and that is not a slight. It even has a clean, user-friendly dashboard with climate and audio controls. Although there is a lot of hard plastic, it's nicely textured, and the interior looks mature and sophisticated for a subcompact.
Kia Rio Price in Pakistan
In Pakistan, the KIA Rio is expected to cost around PKR 2,600,000.
