Toyota has unveiled the third facelift of its 11th-generation sedan, and the
Toyota Corolla Facelift in Pakistan brings a new front and rear, darker cabin trim and a few extra features. The engines and the basic body stay as they are. So what really changed from the old car, and does it justify a look? Here is a simple old vs new breakdown with specs and pricing.
What Changed in the Toyota Corolla Facelift in Pakistan?
Exterior and Color Changes
The outgoing car wore the X Package styling that arrived with the 2021 update. The new one gets a redesigned front grille, a reworked front bumper with changes to the lower lip, and a refreshed rear end. Alloy wheels stay at 16 inches, but the CVT-i variants now get a new machine-finished design. The 1.8L variants also pick up front fog lamps and side mirrors with built-in turn lamps. The color range has changed as well. Strong Blue, Attitude Black and Super White carry over. Metal Stream Metallic and Celestite Grey take the place of Silver Metallic and Graphite Grey, and Phantom Brown has been dropped. The overall shape is untouched, so nobody should expect a new-generation Corolla here. Toyota has mostly worked on how the car looks from the front and back, which is where most people spot a facelift first. If you already know the old car, you will recognize it at once, only with a sharper face and fresher colors to choose from.
Interior and Feature Updates
Inside, the beige cabin option is gone. Every variant now gets an all-black interior, while the Grande adds a Dark Chestnut and black two-tone setup with beige stitching. Silver trim has made way for warm steel accents. The touchscreen is still 9 inches, but the 1.8L variants now support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and every variant gets Bluetooth 5.0. Audio has improved too, with six imported speakers and Panasonic tweeters across the range. Rear passengers get a USB Type-C port next to the Type-A one. LED headlamps, DRLs and auto levelling, which earlier started from the 1.6 CVT-i SE, now come on every variant except the base one, along with a rear fog lamp. The Grande also gets two front and four rear parking sensors. These are useful upgrades for daily driving, though none of them change how the car drives or how much space it offers.
